"So what did you have to tell us that you couldn't say in front of anyone else?"  Brandon asked of Winter after they had gotten into Kellin's shiny black Cadillac. Kellin was of course, in the drivers seat, Brandon on the front passengers seat and Winter was temporarily stuck as the backseat bitch. Kellin started the engine and began to drive as Winter was trying to find the right words to use. Meanwhile, both of the boys waited patiently for her to answer.

"W-Well...uh.." She stumbled over her words while staring down at her light gray skinny jeans and metal studded belt. It was clear that she was reluctant to say anything, even to Brandon. Kellin was understandable, they haven't known each other for very long. Although, in the short amount of time that they have been friends, they've become fairly close and found that they actually had a lot in common.

Brandon suddenly turned around and grabbed her shaking hand tightly and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "Hey, you can tell us anything. You know that."

Winter just continued to stare down in her lap in absolute silence. "I-I..." She started to say, but her voice cut off abruptly and one could hear the tears beginning to well up in her eyes just by listening to her stuttering.

"Do we have to cut a bitch?" Kellin joked in an attempt to make her feel better. It worked in getting her to giggle slightly, but then she went back into her previous state.

"Y-You guys know who V-Vikki S-S-Serenade is, right?" She finally found her voice, which sounded raw and vulnerable.

The boys gave weird looks, although Kellin kept his eyes on the road. "Vikki Serenade..." Brandon muttered under his breath, recognizing that name from somewhere. "Vikki Serenade..." he repeated again. Winter almost cringed every time she heard him utter those two words. One would think it was physically causing her pain to hear that name. Brandon let go of her smaller hand after a moment.

"Isn't Vikki your ex-girlfriend from last year?"

"Wait, you're gay?" Kellin interrupted. Winter gave him an irritated expression through the rear view mirror, but ultimately brushed his question off her shoulder like dust. She'd explain herself later if necessary.

"Yeah," She replied. "She was."

"Don't take this the wrong way Lil' J, but she was a royal bitch." He spat resentfully. Surprisingly enough, this actually got Winter to laugh. Mainly because it was so true. Vikki was, and probably still is a controlling, manipulative, vile back stabbing sociopath. Winter knew, and everyone else knew that she was the living embodiment of Yuno Gasai or Shion Sonozaki. She was the real life manifestation of crazy yandere psychopaths.

"She's fucking insane!" Winter yelled, her previous vulnerability and despair having nearly disappeared by now. She was so filled with vexation, and distracted with insulting her former lover that the tears that were about to attack had retreated back into their lairs for now.

"Wait, who's crazy? Someone fill me in here!"  Kellin exclaimed. Winter took the liberty of explaining to him who Vikki Serenade was to her, and why everyone thought she was a yandere psycho. Basically filling him on all the details. She told him everything she could about Vile Vikki. She told Kellin about how Winter was barely able to maintain a normal friendship courtesy of Vikki's over protective-ness, possessiveness, and abnormal amounts of jealousy. It was ironic to, because Vikki always claimed to love Winter more than anything in the world. Yet, she abused her physically, psychologically, and sexually. She deprived her of life's simplest pleasures. In short, Vikki was the reason for Winter's issues, all of them.

"Well okay then..." Was all Kellin could think to say after all of that. Although, both Winter and Brandon very much understood his lack of words. If it were the other way around, Winter likely wouldn't know what to say either.

"So, was Vikki at the homecoming or something?" He quirked a brow. As Kellin made a sharp left turn towards Winter's shitty apartment complex, she was suddenly reminded of the pain Vikki had caused her that night just by being there.

"Y-Yeah....." She answered solemnly. "She wanted to get back together again."

"You're not gonna take her back after everything she's done to you, are you?" Brandon asked gingerly while Kellin pulled up into a lone parking space by Winter's building unit. She waited to say anything else for a long minute, fidgeting with the bottom of her plain black shirt uncomfortably.

"Winter." He pressed further. She continued to stare down into her lap, almost like she was scared or terrified of what was to come next. "Winter!" Brandon shouted.

"I-I don't know!" She blurted out. Brandon scoffed and undid his seat belt. Kellin seemed to be affected by her answer as well, for he took the key out of the ignition and hopped out of the Cadillac almost furiously, as did Brandon. Brandon opened up the back door and motioned for her to get out with his jaw tightly clenched. For the first time, she felt scared of these two boys who were her only friends.

Winter obeyed him quickly and stood in front of them with her shoulders hunched. Brandon and Kellin both towered over her. Looking up at them, she almost felt like she was receiving a lecture from her parents.

"Listen to me," Kellin started, grabbing her shoulders tightly and looking her dead in the eye through her eye shields. "You cannot, I repeat, you cannot go back with her. She'll ruin you-"

"I'm already ruined Kellin!" She spat. "I mean, look at me! I'm fifteen years old, I'm failing every single one of my classes, apparently I'm such a goddamn failure that I have no dad and I'm already a lowlife fucking junkie just like my mother!"

Her voice broke off at the end there and she felt a lone tear creeping its little way from her hidden eyes.

"S-S-She-"

That's when she took in a deep breath in order to calm herself.

"Never mind." She told them. Now was not the time to have a mental breakdown. So she discreetly wiped the lone tear with her hand, then wiped it on her shirt. Brandon narrowed his eyes suspiciously but didn't press her any further. Kellin let go of her shoulders, sighing heavily.

"Come on." Brandon mumbled, leading both Winter and Kellin up the gravel steps up to her apartment. She snatched her key from her pocket, unlocked the door, and motioned for them to wait outside for a moment.

She walked inside her home quietly, poking her head into the living room and seeing  a passed out woman sprawled out on the old leather sofa.

Winter's alcoholic and possibly drug addicted mother.

She could see her moms bright auburn hair and deathly pale skin. In her sleep, she clutched an empty bottle of Bacardi and there was a packet of cigarettes spilled all over the carpet. She crept over on her tippy toes and snatched a majority of the cancer sticks. She wouldn't notice anyways.

"Mom," She whispered quietly. She got no response. Just the continuous light breathing of the village whore. "Mom!" She whisper shouted again. Still nothing. She turned to the two boys waiting by the door and motioned for them to come inside quickly and silently. They were like mice as they made stealthily to Winter's room toward the back. She cracked open the door, allowing for the boys to go in first before entering herself. As soon as the door had been shut, she plopped down on her mattress where her silver laptop rested. It was an old PC, not a fancy MacBook but she didn't care all that much.

"Here." Kellin took a little white bag of coke and threw it on Brandon's lap for him to cut them each a couple of lines.

Ever since Kellin had become a part of her group, he had become their main supplier. He was now the one who got them the drugs they all craved, and the liquor they destroyed their livers with. He was a super rich kid who went to a private academy with parents who bought him anything he wanted just to keep him entertained. So getting drugs and alcohol, especially at the school he went to, was no feat for him.

While Winter was busy logging onto what little social media accounts she had, Brandon used her "Game of Thrones" novel to cut three lines. One for each of them of course.

"Ladies first," he drawled. "ladies first" had become the boys' trademark catchphrase that they recited  every time they snorted a line of coke, took a shot of straight up hard liquor, or even lit up a joint to smoke. Also, in the short amount of time they've known Kellin, Winter has sort of become the little sister of the group. Aside from doing hardcore drugs with her all the time, the boys do whatever they can to make sure she is safe and sound. She doesn't know it, but they've death glared any boy or girl that crosses her path or even looks at her funnily. They were even weary of Patrick, and everyone knows he wouldn't harm a fly.

She turned her attention away from her laptop in order to snort a line Brandon had cut for her, all the while, thinking about how Vikki had ruined her life, and how Patrick wanted to restore it.
